Marissa Aydlett

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing black glasses, a black turtleneck, and white pants, looking slightly to the side against a plain gray background.

Studio Driftline is led by founder Marissa Aydlett, a former New Yorker who learned from some of the most defining media and technology companies in their early days–from Condé Nast Digital and Atlantic Media Company’s qz.com to Buddy Media and Braze.

Everything we do is intentional. We have heart. And, we’re committed. We’ve advised global enterprises and local Detroit-based nonprofits on projects from new product lines and content strategy to corporate renames, 2020 pivots, and marketing and growth initiatives.

Like the driftlines formed in water from the collection of materials, currents, and winds, we believe in brand as a throughline that connects ideas across disciplines in your operation.

Work with Marissa

“I met Marissa in 2016 and was massively impressed at her work to grow and rebrand Appboy to Braze. So, when it came to the redesign of Phrasee, I was delighted that she chose to partner with us as our Fractional CMO. I think the Jacquard brand is truly marvellous. Such an epic name and novel/beautiful artwork. We can thank Marissa for steering that effort, keeping us on budget, and setting us up for the work that lies ahead.”

— Dan Head, CEO Jacquard
